This class is for those with all levels of woodworking skills, from beginner to intermediate. All materials and equipment will be supplied.

ABOUT THIS EVENT

As part of our bird-themed day, we are offering another related woodworking workshop – join us for a Woodworking workshop in The Cabin on Weds, 3rd June, from 1.30pm-5.30pm to create your own Swift Box.

During this 4-hour afternoon woodworking session in The Cabin at Lairg & District Learning Centre, you will develop your woodworking skills and build a beautiful birdhouse to take home. You will learn to use a variety of tools during this session.

Using recycled and reclaimed wood, our tutor will walk you through the steps to crafting various items. You’ll learn how to measure and cut wood accurately, as well as how to safely use our tool library.

No previous experience necessary – just bring yourself and your enthusiasm with you!

Self-service tea/coffee is available at the Centre.
