Space to...
Here, you’ll find space; space to get away from it all and reconnect with what matters. Space in which to breathe and unwind, but also space for adventure, for enjoyment, and to discover more about our region and its people:
Our wide-open spaces offer everything you could ask for in a holiday:
- Space to relax and unwind and deepen your connection with what’s important to you.
- Space in which to challenge yourself and find adventure in our natural playground of mountains and water.
- Space in which to discover our history and heritage, our culture and society, our art, our music, our stories, and our wildlife.
- And space in which to enjoy our spectacular local larder and perhaps a wee dram or two, too. There’s a warm welcome at the end of every road. A space in which to rest your head, recharge your body and mind, and indulge in the very best of local food and drink.
What are you waiting for?
Fly to Wick and the North Coast
Have you heard the news? Of course, you have! Direct scheduled flights between Aberdeen and Wick John O’Groats Airport have returned, with up to 24 flights connecting Caithness with the northeast of Scotland each week.
Fares start from £39.99, including both carry-on and hold luggage, making Caithness a wonderful, cost-effective destination for a few days away. If you’re really short on time, you can even book an away-day break to Caithness’s Royal Burgh of Wick.
Take a day to dive into our varied history, explore some of our castles, enjoy a wildlife trip or sample the whisky that’s made in the UK’s most northerly mainland distillery. Flight times are tailor-made for a full day’s adventure.
