Let’s see if we can spot some whales or dolphins on this guided seawatch – fingers crossed!

Ranger led guided sea watch, looking for whales and dolphins at Sandside Head in Reay, north Caithness, Scotland. Bring your binoculars and use our telescopes to look for these magnificent ocean mammals in their natural environment. There are no gurantees but we have had some great views at previous watches. Discover more about their life cycle and how you can learn to identify different species. Wrap up warm and bring binoculars if you have them. Please be aware, there is a 1km walk along rough ground from the car park to the watching site. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Sorry dogs are not welcome at these activities.
