Join us for a stroll with a difference! Wander the Ferrycroft Woods and utilise the ‘Merlin’ Mobile App to recognise bird calls as you go.

ABOUT THE CLASS

As part of our Digital Inclusion project, we have tasked the lovely Amanda Wagstaffe with leading a walk through Ferrycroft Woods whilst listening and identifying the local birds using the ‘Merlin Bird ID’ mobile phone app. Meet outside the Ferrycroft Centre.

Whilst you’re at the Visitor Centre, please take a look at our LDLC bird feeder on the grounds and see if you can spot any of the illustrated ones!

Bring your device along at 9.30am for us to install the Merlin app on your phone.
If you already have the app or would like to install it yourself prior to the walk, meet Amanda outside the Ferrycroft Centre at 10am.
