Above and Beyond Tours was established in 2019 by Isobel and Angela. Both local to Caithness they decided to share their passion and knowledge of the area by setting up a tour company.
Isobel is a qualified life coach; which she incorporates into the tours, believing that in today's climate it is important to slow down, appreciate our surroundings and the benefits of being outdoors and in nature. Angela has years of experience in hospitality and shares her knowledge and passion for Caithness, taking pride in showcasing the most northern tip of mainland Scotland.
An increase of locals and visitors wanting to explore the highlands, and with the NC500 becoming a popular route, led to a realisation that there was a need to employ more guides and now the team have increased to 4 guides each offering their own personalities and knowledge of the area which gives customers a unique experience.
Tours range from Driving Tours, Walking Tours, Experience Days Out and Health and Wellness Tours. Above and Beyond focus on guests' needs and will put together a complete package, which includes a pick-up and drop-off service, allowing clients to totally relax and enjoy their time spent in Caithness.
