At the heart of the bothy is an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area with a log burner, large picture windows and a sumptuous sofa, perfectly positioned to take in the breath-taking views of the tranquil valley and surrounding hills.

The well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine with tumble dryer.

There’s a spacious, entrance porch, an ideal spot for drying off muddy boots. The natural garden blends with the surrounding landscape, and the patio provides a perfect place to sip your morning coffee or stargaze when the day’s adventures are past – and perhaps even glimpse the Northern Lights!

You may choose to unplug from technology, but if you prefer to stay connected there is Smart TV with Freesat, Wi-Fi and Home Bluetooth speaker. There’s also a selection of games, books, maps & area information as well as walking poles and binoculars to help you make the most of your stay.

Enjoy walks straight from the doorstep, spotting the local wildlife as you go, then return to laze in front of the log burner with a good book. Or venture further afield to explore all the wider area has to offer including beautiful beaches, picturesque villages, ancient castles and world-famous distilleries.
