In Scotland there are no registered venues, so your ceremony can take place almost anywhere that matters to you, and few places offer as much choice as this far northern corner of the country. A white-sand beach, a clifftop, a lochside or hillside, a family garden, your favourite hotel or venue, a spot you fell in love with along the NC500 or the Caithness coast: I’m at home in all of them, indoors and out.

Every ceremony is written from scratch. I take time to get to know your story, the people and places that are important to you, what makes you laugh, and what you want the day to say about you. Whether that leads to something quietly secular, spiritual, or a blend of traditions, the ceremony is shaped around what feels right to you, with room for Scottish rituals such as a handfasting or quaich alongside anything from your own family or culture.

I love working with all kinds of couples, and I’ve a particular appreciation for those who prefer a quieter celebration. A gentle, reflective ceremony can be just as powerful as a grand one, and often even more meaningful.

I’m interfaith-trained, so I’m comfortable working with couples of all faiths and none, and I can lead ceremonies in English, German or a blend of both.
