Named in honour of the world-famous fishing fly-tyer Megan Boyd, the bar celebrates the life and legacy of a local woman whose craftsmanship earned international acclaim. Born and raised in Brora, Megan developed a lifelong passion for fly fishing and became renowned for creating some of the finest salmon flies ever tied. A sociable and much-loved figure in the village, her story remains an important part of Brora’s heritage.
