Situated right on the seafront at John O'Groats, from our site you can relax and enjoy panoramic views of the Pentland Firth and the Orkney Islands, with 90 pitches available for caravans, motorhomes, and tents.

At the end of the A99 lies John O’ Groats Caravan & Camping Site, set on the seafront beside the John O’ Groats Brewery and Scotland’s Last Pub. From here, enjoy sweeping views across the Pentland Firth, where puffins and other seabirds are often spotted. To the left sits Stroma, just 3.5 km offshore and ahead, the Orkney Islands stretch from Hoy to South Ronaldsay, with the Pentland Skerries on the horizon. Grey seals frequently swim close to the beach, adding to the charm of this unique location.

Guests can enjoy a wide range of facilities, including a reception with a fully stocked gift shop, numerous electric hook-ups, a heated toilet and shower block with 8 showers, hand dryers, shaver and hairdryer points, and an accessible wet room.

Additional amenities include a laundrette with coin-operated washing machines, dryers, and ironing facilities, a campers’ kitchen equipped with a kettle, toaster, microwave, and freezer, as well as multiple dishwashing sinks, waste and Elsan disposal points, recycling and refuse bins, fresh water points, hard surfaced roads, a mix of hard standing and grass pitches, and free WiFi throughout the site.
