Ice and Fire Distillery
Ice & Fire Distillery was born from the rugged beauty of Caithness and the heritage of Highland crofting. Founded by siblings Iain, Elizabeth, Jacquie, and Stephen, this family-run distillery combines traditional craftsmanship with locally sourced botanicals to create authentic, small-batches of gin, rum and vodka.
Using ingredients from the Strath of Latheronwheel, Ice and Fire’s signature gin Crofters Tears contains purple heather flowers. Caithness Gin contains salmonberries, and Caithness Raiders Rum contains gorse flowers and honey from their own bees.
Rooted in crofting traditions, Ice & Fire Distillery uses handmade copper pot stills and small-batch methods to ensure quality and authenticity. Their spirits reflect the local landscape, from the mountains of Morven and Scaraben, to the Wade Bridge at nearby Latheronwheel.
