At Glenmorangie House every playful detail of this opulent hotel tells the whisky's story. From rooms which celebrate Glenmorangie's creation, to delicious food and bespoke candles evoking the whiskies' flavours, a visit brings the joy of Glenmorangie alive for all the senses.
As part of your welcome to the House, the team will take you on a tour to explain the depth and creative influences of each room. From their golden Morning Room encapsulating the surrounding barley fields to enjoy an afternoon tea or a drink from the honesty bar whilst our cosy Buffalo Room is the perfect after dinner lounge with a selection of games and a piano for all guests to enjoy.
The estate is rich in history with parts of the garden remaining from the 8th century and our resident Cadboll Castle remains next door to the House with a story or two to be told. A short stroll from the House is the beautiful coastline looking out over the Cromarty Firth where you can enjoy a refreshing walk along the beach and pay a visit to the Cadboll Pictish Stone.
The luxury accommodation comprises of 6 main house bedrooms and 3 cottages that can sleep up to 24 guests, all of which boast luxurious comfort. All bedrooms offer complimentary wi-fi, tea & coffee making facilities and modern en-suite facilities within the room and there is also a guest amenity cupboard on the landing for you to help yourself to fresh Nespresso coffee and all the other little extras needed during your stay.
Whether you are staying at the House or simply joining them for lunch or dinner, all their guests come together at a communal dining table to enjoy a sensational dining experience. Different every day, the inventive lunch and dinner menus showcase the finest seasonal and local Highland ingredients and they’re happy to cater the culinary creations to suit all preferences. The dinner party is a highlight for guests and the incredible food is the touchstone on which new friendships are made. More often than not, the conversation (and a Glenmorangie dram or two) flows into the early hours.
Having won the “Best Luxury Experience Hotel” as part of VisitScotland’s Thistle Awards 2023, they’re proud to offer different experiences and activities within the beautifully landscaped gardens.
