The Dornoch Highland Games has been celebrated annually since 1835. It’s a much-anticipated event for locals, offering a full day of fun and excitement. Visitors are warmly welcomed.

Come and enjoy traditional competitions including piping, Highland dancing, caber tossing, ball putting, and hammer throwing. Whether you prefer to watch or take part, there are track and field events such as running, cycling, long jump, and high jump. Don’t miss the unique challenge of “Tilting the Bucket” and the variety of techniques on display!

With fairground rides, stalls, refreshments, children’s races, and mini Highland games, there’s something for everyone in the family.
