Braeside Retreats provides a rural retreat in the stunning North Highlands of Scotland.

- Six luxury glamping pods sleeping up to 2 guests, each featuring a private hot tub and stunning sea views.
- The Shepherd’s Rest, a cosy three-bedroom cottage sleeping up to 6 guests, complete with log burner, private hot tub and all bedrooms en-suite.
- The Herdman’s House, a historic farmhouse sleeping up to 11 guests, with a games room, large walled garden, private hot tub and formal dining space perfect for family gatherings and special occasions.

- WiFi
- All accommodation has free dedicated Wifi. Please note that this is adequate for occasional use e.g checking emails, but we do live in a countryside area and hence do not have superfast broadband speeds for downloads and streaming. We are serviced very well with 4G which provides good speeds also.
- Bedroom
- The Glamping pods sleep up to 2 guests. The Shepherds Rest cottage sleeps up to 6 guests. The Herdsmen's House sleeps up to 12 guests.
- Activities
- Attractions including distilleries, golf courses, the Castle of Mey, John O'Groats, Dunnet Beach are all within easy reach.
- Food
- There are many excellent local restaurants and cafes locally, including Annie's Bakery, The Ulbster Arms, Cardosi's Cafe, and The Blue Door Diner.
- Pets
- The pods will accommodate one well behaved dog – please see our Pets Policy. Both the Shepherd's Rest and Herdsmen's Houses accommodate well behaved dogs and have enclosed gardens in which it is fine to let your dog off lead to play and toilet. All dog waste must be picked up immediately and disposed of appropriately. If there is stock in the fields surrounding the houses, we advise you to be very vigilant and keep your dogs on the lead when walking past. Worrying of sheep and cattle will not be tolerated.
