Easy access to the ferry in Scrabster should you wish to visit Orkney or Shetlands.

The Apartment

Free street parking is available and depending on what time of day you arrive, you should be able to get parking right in front of the property or very close by.

The Apartment is placed on the ground floor of a block of only four Apartments.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and a smaller dishwasher. There is a coffee machine, kettle, toaster and microwave as well. The property has full electric central heating but no air conditioning.

The property is only suitable for infants over the age of 3 as there is no bath in the property, only a large shower, and no cots are available either.

The lounge is quite large, with a three-seater settee and a two-seater settee.

There is a large 42-inch TV with a satellite box.

The property complies with all regulations regarding smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms and heat sensors as required.

The hob is electric as well as the oven.

All crockery and cutlery is supplied.

All bed linen and towels are supplied as well as toiletries. There are plenty of cleaning materials left for guests for their own use.

Bedroom: Main bedroom has a double room, a large wardrobe, large drawer unit and two bedside cabinets. All curtains are black out curtains. The second bedroom has two single beds with one bedside cabinet in the middle. There is a wardrobe with drawers to the side.
Activities: Lots of walking, trips to Orkney also boat trips from John O Groats. Fishing is very popular and Thurso hosts some of the main events in the surfing calender. There are a few places where horse riding can be had as well, Horsin Around is one of them as well as Caithness Riding Club.
Food: The Apartment does not offer any breakfast, tea and coffee is supplied. There is a coffee machine. There are lots of restaurants in and around Thurso as well as take aways.
Pets: Dogs allowed after consultation with owner
