Castlehill Heritage Centre is an award winning visitor experience and educational resource, gaining a 3 star rating from VisitScotland. Themed exhibitions are held throughout the year featuring the history, heritage, biodiversity and social history of Castletown and the parish of Olrig. Workshop and training days are also held featuring local and vernacular skills such as rope and basket making, drystone dyking and croft crafts. There is also an archaeological research laboratory.
The Centre is an accredited Dark Skies Discovery Site. It includes a Heritage Garden with picnic area, with ample parking opposite. The Castlehill Heritage Trail and Harbour are adjacent.
