Sparsile Books (Glasgow) presents an evolution/ancestor-themed event at Nucleus: The Nuclear and Caithness Archives. Join us for a light hearted performance for anyone who is curious about their ancestors, right back to the first one celled life form (called Kevin, incidentally.) It would also appeal to those interested in the origins of music, and the way music and words can combine – inviting us to think about the way landscape can seem to also have a sound – a sound that seems to hark back to earlier memories of who we once were and what our ancestors may have wanted.
Author readings, music and Q&A with Cynthia Rogerson, Kirsty Gunn, David Graham and Alpha Munro.
No booking required, all welcome.
