Lyth Arts Centre Summer Sessions Festival Returns for 2026!
Lyth Arts Centre is thrilled to welcome back its annual flagship festival, Summer Sessions. Taking place at the Rosebank Playing Fields, the festival will fill the town of Wick with a lively week of music, creativity, and community celebration.
This year’s programme brings some exciting additions, including secret off‑site gigs hosted in distinctive and unexpected venues, alongside the launch of festival theatre performances happening on gig nights. As part of the 2026 programme, audiences can also enter a prize draw for access to a number of exclusive secret gigs. With extremely limited capacity, these intimate shows are set to be truly memorable.
In the run‑up to the main weekend, a programme of family‑friendly workshops will take place throughout the week, leading into three nights of live music across the weekend.
📅 Festival Dates: Tuesday 4th – Sunday 9th August 2026
📍 Location: Rosebank Playing Fields, Wick
🎟️ Entry: Free (some events require booking)
Summer Sessions is open to all ages, with a mix of free, ticketed, and bookable events across the programme. Full details will be announced soon — follow Lyth Arts Centre on social media to stay up to date.
