Golspie Gala Week is a much‑loved Highland celebration that brings the whole community together for several days of music, sport, pageantry and family fun in one of Scotland’s most picturesque coastal villages.

Set beneath Ben Bhraggie and the iconic Sutherland Monument, Golspie springs to life each July with pipe bands marching along the High Street, children racing on the recreation ground and the sound of ceilidh music spilling from the Sutherland Arms.

From the colourful Opening Parade and the crowning of the Gala Queen to the ever‑popular Duck Race on the Golspie Burn, each event is full of local character and warmly welcomes visitors and locals alike.
