Gary Innes and Ewen Henderson have become two of Scotland’s most respected traditional musicians. Alongside their work with the internationally acclaimed band Mànran, their duo performances have taken them from Kazakhstan to Shanghai and even on a memorable tour of the American West Coast in a convertible Mustang.

Rooted in the rich musical traditions of Lochaber, their music and storytelling draw on both their upbringing and their travels.

Born in Spean Bridge, Gary began playing accordion at the age of eight and has since released several critically acclaimed albums. He is also a well-known BBC presenter, hosting BBC Radio Scotland’s Take the Floor and Your Requests with Gary Innes each week.

Fort William-born Ewen was immersed in Gaelic culture and traditional music from an early age. Beginning on fiddle at five, he went on to master multiple instruments, learning from renowned West Highland musicians, including Aonghas Grant Snr.

Together, Gary and Ewen combine world-class musicianship, humour and storytelling, bringing the spirit of the Highlands to audiences wherever they perform.
