Over the summer we have a fantastic exhibition about local man Arthur Dutch. Arthur is celebrating his 90th birthday in August and what better way to celebrate than a display at Historylinks!
Arthur spent his life working as a tinsmith in Edinburgh and became interested in ScottishTraveller Culture during his many visits to Perthshire and Sutherland. Come along and find out about Arthur’s fascinating life and work plus his interesting collection of objects made by the Scottish Travelling Community.
We are running the film of Sue Jane Taylor in conversation with Arthur in the community room. The interview was filmed by Peter Wild in 2024. Peter also curated the objects for the exhibition.
The exhibition is now open and will be on until 31st October 2026.
Museum opening times are 10.30am to 4pm seven days a week.
Adults £6, Concessions £5 and accompanied children are free.
