The inspiring beauty of our location will be more than enough for any visitor, however this has been enhanced by the thorough upgrading of the hotel and its facilities.
The hotel has been a favourite with sportsmen since the Victorian Times, overlooking the headland and a stone’s throw from the excellent salmon fishing on the Halladale River. The oldest parts of the building date back to the 1830s and the stone face of the building is dated 1895 showing the original inn’s development. Since changing hands in 2007, the hotel has been refurbished and refreshed whilst retaining its timeless rural charm. Taking the our lead from the stunning backdrop of sand, sea, heather and peat, the hotel is carefully decorated throughout to offer a compliment to the area’s natural beauty.
