Ferry View is ideally located on the North Coast 500 route for exploring the big skies of Caithness, the Far North of Scotland, listed as one of Lonely Planet's Best in Travel 2024 regions, and less than a mile from the Gills Bay Ferry for exploring the Orkney Islands. Located on the A836 between Wick and Thurso, Castle of Mey is a short distance away.
Open all year, hardstanding and grass pitches are available with pitches for motorhomes, campervans, roof tents, trailers tents and standard camping tents.
On site we have:
✅ Hardstanding and a generous grass area on all motorhome / campervan pitches;
✅ Large, all grass tent pitches;
✅ Electric Hook Up available on all pitches;
✅ Motorhome waste and water points (for those on site and passing through);
✅ Communal outdoor games area with giant jenga, swingball and more;
✅ Woodland walk (watch out for the fairies and lego!);
✅ On site takeaway - Mr Eddy's, for those on site and passing through;
✅ Converted bus for sitting, eating, relaxing or playing board games (we even have Highlands and Islands Monopoly!);
