The Wick Heritage Museum is run by the Wick Society on an entirely voluntary basis. It is a multi-award winning museum and houses a Caithness Glass display, a school room of bye gone days, a fish kiln, a cooperage, harbour area, a restored fisherman’s house, art gallery, a working lighthouse and the famous Johnston collection of photographs showcasing 115 years of history. In addition, during the summer, our historic fishing boat the Isabella Fortuna (built 1880) and the Diligent, a fishing Yawl built on the island of Stroma in 1912 can be viewed in Wick Harbour.
