Ferrycroft Visitor Centre is ideally located at a crossroads for exploring the Northern Highlands. Tourist information, café & gift shop, exhibitions on archaeology, history and wildlife of the area, archaeology trail, woodland walks, children’s playpark & picnic area.
Ferrycroft was built on the land of the old croft of that name. A ferry enabled the crossing of the River Shin prior to the construction of the first 'Black Bridge' in the 19th century. The Highland Council Countryside Rangers also have a base in the Visitor Centre.
