Duncan and Rona Macleod are a sibling duo from Sutherland. Blending songs and harmonies with tunes on fiddle and piano, their unique sound draws from traditional, Gaelic and folk influences.
The Ullapool Gaelic Choir was formed in 2006, led then as now by conductor Lisa MacDonald. The choir performs locally and also competes at the Mòd. Members are from across the rural North West Highlands and they are always keen to welcome new singers, proficiency in Gaelic is not required - just a love of singing and a willingness to learn.
Join us at the Rock Stop Visitor Centre, overlooking the shores of Loch Glencoul for an exclusive performance celebrating the Gaelic music of the landscape in the North West Highlands Geopark. Complimentary refreshments will be served during the interval.
The event is free, but booking is essential as places are limited. Donations to the North West Highlands Geopark are welcome.
