One of Scotland’s most exciting innovators, Malin melds tradition with electronics on a newly invented, self-made bagpipe. Hair tingling, philosophical and dance inducing melodies inspired by European folk traditions, humans, queerness and the universe. Halocline (named for the layer between bodies of fresh and salt water), is a sequence of compositions reflecting on the liminal spaces between my outer and inner worlds as a trans person. Halocline will be released on Hudson Records in April 2024. Doors 7pm. Please book tickets via the Lyth Arts Centre website.
