Dornoch Highland Games

Dornoch Highland Games are held on the first Friday in August at the Meadows Park Field. Local events are held in the morning with entries restricted to the Counties of Sutherland, Caithness and Ross-shire. Open Events which attract competitors from Europe, USA and Australia as well as the UK begin after the Chieftain’s speech to officially open the Games. A prominent feature of Games Day is the Chieftain’s Parade which sets of from Dornoch Square at 12:15 led by the Dornoch Pipe Band.
