Unspoilt beach walks with views over to the old red sandstone cliffs of Dunnet Head.  Explore the Dunnet Forest with its numerous waymarked paths and attractions, including a log cabin, tree sculptures and massive wooden xylophone – great for children to discover.

Mary-Anne’s cottage gives an insight into traditional crofting life.

Timothy Pont was minister here in the pre-reformation church between 1601 and 1610, the first cartographer to map Scotland in detail.
